Maid vs Waiter

So I saw this white&black dress in the window of YSL back in 2008 and never forgot it. Of course, I didn't purchase it, but I attempted to recreate it last week. Oddly, it doesn't quite appear the same on me as it did on the mannequin. I sort of look like an extra in the movie Clue. Oh well.
